Our speech therapy sessions are fun, playful, and focused on supporting communication during everyday activities. Parents and caregivers are always welcome to join in and learn new ways to build on speech, language, and social skills at home.
We currently serve families throughout Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, & Oshawa Ontario.
Services We Offer
Speech Therapy
Does your child have a hard time making speech sounds? We use toys, games, and movement activities to help them practice their sounds with high repetition and accuracy! Our sessions begin with an introduction or a review of the sound we will focus on and progress into play-based learning activities. Parents will also be provided with handouts and strategies to keep up the practice between sessions.
Autism (ASD)
We follow your child's lead and connect through shared experiences of joy! Our goal is to teach you and your child new communication strategies that can be used to make daily life activities easier and more successful. We will offer your family handouts, videos, and examples to practice throughout the week to support your child's communication and social skills.
Early Literacy
Literacy skills are essential for academic success. We lay the foundation for reading and writing using fun activities like books, puzzles, virtual activities, and movement games! Your child will learn about how sounds make up words and gain the skills needed to hear, identify, and manipulate sounds to improve their phonological awareness.
Early Intervention
Parent involvement is the key to successful therapy for children ages birth - 3 years. We will come to your home, join in on your everyday routines, and teach helpful communication strategies that you can use to guide your child's development! Each week, we will also check in to see what did and did not work and offer you a home plan with resources to help you meet your goals.

Sneha Fonseka, MSc. S-LP(C), Reg.CASLPO
Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist
Sneha is a compassionate and creative speech therapist who focuses on working with children ages 1 to 7 years. She takes the time to learn about each family's concerns and immediate needs, and focuses on teaching helpful strategies that guide them toward their goals. Her speech therapy sessions are uniquely tailored to each family.

Through a combination of functional and play-based therapy activities, Sneha gets children engaged and helps them gain the confidence to communicate with others during play, book reading, mealtimes, and other daily routines. Outside of work, Sneha enjoys traveling, trying new foods, cooking, participating in community events, and spending time with family!
